This website features information, experiences and photographs acquired while researching a book on the Mohawk Valley in upstate New York. Like the discovery process itself, the presentation of material sometimes seems haphazard, however, a book is taking shape that will be a fascinating study of the history of the valley, and point the way to an amazing variety of natural wonders, historic and scenic sites, and recreational opportunities. I look forward to your comments on this endeavor and welcome suggestions on places to go and people to talk to about the Mohawk Valley. This is the fifth year of a five-year adventure. A few chapters are complete, but for the most part this book is a long way from completed, and I'm a long way from being an accomplished webmaster. So, please bear with me . . . and enjoy the adventure of discovering the Mohawk Valley. NEW STUFF
